In 2007, model and activist Emme needed a place to build community among her fans and followers. Her New Jersey-based agency partner hired us to build a custom app that would combine traditional CMS with message boards and other social features.
The Emmestyle app was built with Ruby on Rails 1.x, Sass, and Prototype.js, hosted on virtual servers at Blue Box Group.
